Yet another Asian Experience

My new found love for Pan-Asian cuisine, took me to this beautiful restaurant inspired by Japanese manga designs.

Mamagoto Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

One fine afternoon, my friends and I decided to serve our stomach a great meal; so we opened our favorite food app to browse through and the Asian cuisine just made our stomach rumble. Thus, we found Mamagoto, just 200m away from where we were standing…

And everything was so classy!!! When they say ” inspired by Japanese manga designs”, they mean it… the vibrant Red, the wall decors, the interior partitions, the menu designs and everything else… just fabulous…

The best part is, they make sure they got your food right! Unlike other places, the staff here would take your order for one plate and say “just try that for now, if it’s not filling and you need something else, you may order again”… this ensures that you do not waste even a grain! Apart from that, if your food tastes even a little out of order, it’s taken care of instantaneously.

and here’s the catchy part… the messages on the tees of the staff members…

To end with the bill amount… yes it’s on the higher end; but as I always say –

If it satisfies your soul, it’s worth the dough

And we all had a great time in there, with their marvelous hospitality and the “burp” food 🙂

  1. The decor if the restaurant is very pretty and the food looks very good too. I haven’t tried any Thai food (I assume you are eating Thai food due to the name of the dishes) except for pad thai before so I am very curious about those dishes you have chose. The dumplings look mouthwatering.

  2. That’s the thing. A restaurant doesn’t need to give discounts to entice more customers. If the food and the quality of service is better than the price, then I think there is no reason for people not to come, by word of mouth. Too expensive, that means the value in return does not justify the price.

Here, what you discovered was a fun restaurant with quality food which may be considered high, but obviously, you are very satisfied. So is the price really on the high side? Perspective.

  3. Just by reading this post makes me assume that you really did have a great time at the place. Love the wall decorations and the images. Love the idea as well that the staff are really very pleasing. And love best the fact that no food are ever wasted as they serve them right.

  4. I love the saying “If it satisfies your soul, it’s worth the dough” lol. Anyway, it’s really nice to see some restaurants who can be playful. Servers wearing those statement shirts are a hit. The mood inside the restaurant becomes lighter. I’m not sure though if the place looks a little dim but it would be great if they have more lights inside so people could appreciate the interiors.

  5. The food looks amazing, especially those noodles and those dumplings! I’m the type who will pay up for good food, so I can understand! I think if we value something, then the price is not the determining factor for our purchase, but just a fact, right? That’s how I see it! 🙂

  6. When you mentioned favorite food app, I am assuming it is Zomato. Haha. I use it a lot too to find new restaurants nearby, especially when I’m planning dinner with friends. 😉

Mamagoto’s interior looks so cute and kawaii!! It definitely is worth the visit but I think we don’t have this restaurant in where I live in. 🙁
