Goa; June’17-Day 2

After Day 1, we were looking forward to some climatically healthier days. But, the weather Gods were definitely against us 🙂

16th June’17

Nevertheless, we were determined to brave the rain on our freshly rented Yamaha Fascino (don’t laugh, that’s all that was available :p) and our raincoats! Yay!

We started with out breakfast of course, where we were embraced by the beautiful raindrops!

After waiting for some time, for the rain to calm down, we shooed our way to the ever famous Baga Beach! Crowded though it was, the rain had an added disadvantage of finding a place in the shacks for lunch. But, the food stars were shinning brightly upon us, and we managed with minimal wait time, a marvelous beach view seat at the Brittos 🙂

[/media-credit] We just had a (obvious) crab over there 🙂

And then, we made our way to the peaceful Anjuna Beach! I think we ended up on the wrong side of that beach, but we could not complain one bit, as it was exactly what we needed; crowd-less…

On our descent towards our hotel, we took a detour to the Vivenda Kafe for our evening snacks… With me, it’s more about eating that doing anything else :p Soon, we were digging our tooth into their Goan Bebinca and sipping some coffee…

After getting fresh at the hotel, we soon were dressed up for our fishy dinner. Since we were vising in an off-season, most of the places were closed; but I think we were lucky to find some of the best places though 🙂 Out dinner halt was at the Fisheman’s Cove! One thing everyone must/already know about Goa, is that, “food-music-drinks” go together all the time. A couple performing some beautiful rock, jazz and Portuguese numbers here, had just made our night divine!

Holding on for Day 3 & 4??? Coming soon 🙂 Till then, happy watching the vids;)
