Uplift your taste buds

Plated Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

All the foodies residing in Bangalore, know the streets of the city, that house some brilliant places to challenge one’s taste buds. New BEL Road has been one of them, for quite some years now. This very new outlet on New BEL Road’s 80 ft. lane, has just expanded my food limits… Plated is a brilliant idea, conceptualised by it’s lovely owners. The location, is a perfect choice; the ambiance is fun; the owners along with the staff, are wonderful; and the food is Amazing!

Take a look…

The reason I’d call their food to be twisted, is because of the zest they bring to some of their dishes, with a few Bengali delicacies (being a Bengali myself, I was elated to find these:) )! For example: “Kasundi and Green Chilli infused Paturi” or “Jhaal Muri with Chicken Tikka/Tandoor Prawn”. Some other of their dishes have various different delicacies infused, like the “Portugese Prawns with Butter Garlic Pepperoncino” or “Shwarma in Pita” or “Noodles w/pulled Chicken”. All in all, their preparations (even beverages) are really wonderful and definitely worth a try!

Their big meat preparations are really slow-cooked and hence it takes a little time, to get a seat and then your food; and of course, that non-regrettable 🙂

  1. Its been quite some time since I last visited Bangalore! Next time when I’m there, I’ll check this out! Love the interiors with graffiti and good to know that its dog friendly! Food looks neat, but how’s the options for veggies?

  2. Wow! You’ve managed to capture the ambiance and the food from this restaurant perfectly!

The food looks simply sublime! 🙂

  3. Woah there! It’s very nice of them to inform customers/future customers that they are a dog friendly place. Some would have outside seats but won’t allow our furry friends. The dishes showcase cultural diversity which would allow anyone to try something for the first time. 🙂

  4. Their unique decorations had really caught my attention. The cactus as centerpieces is very unique but I am a bit worried if it’s safe especially if there are kids dining. I love their vertical garden — this is something we all need.

No to mention this post made me thirsty and I would love to try their kiwi, cucumber and pineapple drink. But do you want to know what sold me out to this place —- its dog friendly. 🙂

  5. Wonderful photo essay on ‘Plated’. Those colored cacti… how does one grow them? Not related to food I know but I am really curious. Loved the art display on the walls.

  6. The interiors is sooo nice and the food totally looks appetizing! Also a nice place to unwind and have some time with your pets as the establishment is pet friendly. Kudos to the owners!

  7. It’s a lovely cafe and the setup was simple yet catching. The chairs looks like somewhere I can took a photo for IG. I can put the food on the chair and have it as my background. I wonder how they taste in actual.

  8. Wow! What a well thought of place! Im drooling over those spread of food! They all look scrumptious! Not only that, but the interiors as well! I cant help but notice the vertical garden and the lovely centerpieces! I always have a thing gor succulents/cactus!

  9. I love the ambience and the decor. Judging by the photos, I presume the food is more than delicious. It is really great to have all these interesting places that serve traditional, tasty food. I would definitely love to visit them and relish my food experience!

  10. Base on your snaps, this place looks casual chic! And I love it! And yes, those tables and chairs are gorgeous. Although, I still have to expose myself into Indian cuisine more.

  11. Wow, I truly love the whole ambiance of this beanery. The intricate design of the interior is truly great. The foods were so tempting to look at and looks so luscious. I actually love how unique all their foods are, I haven’t heard about each of them and haven’t tried it as well. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
